A month ago, I had the opportunity to see some of the 130,000 elephants from Botswana in the plains of the Chobe National Park, what a mesmerizing show! Herds of giant magnificent beasts enjoying their natural habitat; moms taking care of the little ones running from one place to another, while the elders showered in the river flowing from Angola making its way to the impressive Victoria Falls. No words will ever describe the feeling of seeing these beautiful creatures living without any danger around.
I knew already about the possibility of the hunting prohibition being ended. I never thought that possibility could actually become a fact, but now, it has.
I will never understand how come taking the life of one of these beautiful beings can be the "solution to a problem". I will never understand either how come an animal's life is for sale; hunting will never be a "sport", it will always be bloody, cruel and unethical. There is still so much we need to learn. 🐘💚🐘 #Botswana #Africa #Chobe #conservation #stophunting #ChobeNationalPark #Elephants #Africanelephants #kasane #Nata #VisitAfrica #wildandfree #wildlifeprotection
